Jessica Kagansky is an associate of Gutride Safier LLP. Prior to joining Gutride Safier, Ms. Kagansky worked as a corporate associate at Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP and as a litigator at a boutique civil/commercial litigation firm in New York. Ms. Kagansky is passionate about equal justice, and has done pro bono work for organizations such as Sanctuary for Families, Immigration Equality, and Women in Need, Inc.

Ms. Kagansky is a member of the state bar of New York. Ms. Kagansky received her juris doctorate from Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, and her bachelor of arts from New York University.

While a student at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law, Ms. Kagansky served as the Managing Notes Editor for the Journal for Technology and Intellectual Property. Ms. Kagansky was also a student attorney at the Bluhm Legal Clinic Children and Family Justice Center, where she worked with juvenile youth offenders and did policy work aimed at juvenile de-incarceration. During her tenure as a student attorney, Ms. Kagansky obtained her 711 license, enabling her to argue a motion in juvenile court in Illinois under the supervision of a senior attorney. During the summer of 2014, Ms. Kagansky also served as a judicial extern in the New York County Supreme Court, where she drafted legal opinions for two separate justices.
