The average parent uses 2-4 baby wipes every diaper change. Many consumers purchase “green” or "eco" baby wipes to reduce the environmental impact of discarding so many wipes. But what if those wipes are no better for the environment?
Earth’s Best, Honest, and Bambo all advertise that their baby wipes are green, by claiming that they are earth-friendly, plant-based, biodegradable, or 100% eco. But the wipes are not really better for the environment and they do not decompose quickly in landfills.
