The Allegations:
Ghirardelli advertised its "Premium Baking Chips – Classic White" and "Premium Banking Chips – Classic White Chips" as containing white chocolate, even though they did not. Also Ghirardelli falsely labeled some of products as "all natural," even though they were made with non-natural ingredients.
The Results:
Pursuant to the Settlement Agreement approved of on February 20, 2015, class members who submitted a valid Claim Forms received $1.50 for each bag of Ghirardelli White Chips and $0.75 for any of the other eligible Ghirardelli products purchased between August 17, 2008 and October 2, 2014.
