Dior 24H Cosmetic Products

The Allegations:
Defendant markets, advertises, and sells a variety of cosmetic products under the brand name Dior. The products at issue include foundation cosmetics that have a SPF sun protection claim alongside a claim that the products last 24 hours, including the Dior Forever foundations. However, SPF protection only lasts two hours so a purchaser would have to reapply the foundation to obtain the advertised SPF benefits. Plaintiff alleges that Defendant's marketing and labeling is false and misleading.
Our Goals:
Our lawsuit seeks refunds for all purchasers of the Christian Dior cosmetic products with SPF protection labeled with “24H” claims (including the Dior Forever foundations) such as “24 HR FOUNDATION … WITH SUNSCREEN” and “24HR WEAR … FOUNDATION WITH SUNSCREEN.”
Status:
The case was filed on January 27, 2023 in the United States District Court, Northern District of California.
Who is Covered:
The Class: All natural persons who purchased the Products between January 27, 2019 and the present.
California Subclass: All Class Members who purchased the Products in the state of California.
